Benefits Administrators have listened to the concerns of its accountholders for the past few years about the escalating costs of prescription drugs and the inability to access a discount pharmacy network to stretch out the MSA/HSA pre-tax dollars.  Participants in either Blue Cross or Blue Shield MSA/HSA high deductible plans have been paying the full retail price for their prescriptions.  Benefit Administrators is pleased to introduce the first pharmacy discount network of its kind, the MyRxSavings S.O.S. (Save Our Savings) Prescription Drug Discount Plan.  Building upon a solid foundation of loyalty and trust, we are pleased to offer this value-added benefit to our Medical Savings and Health Savings Accountholders.

Here’s how it works. 

Check the pharmacy network listing.  Most likely your local pharmacy is a member of the 54,500 network of participating pharmacies.  When you are ready to fill your prescription(s), present the MyRxSavings Discount Card to the pharmacist and the appropriate Tier payment or discounts will apply.  The cost of the prescription(s) will be automatically deducted from your MSA/HSA account balance.  It’s that simple!  It’s the most hassle-free and convenient way of purchasing prescription drugs without your having to pay out of pocket for prescription(s) and then seek a reimbursement.  Prescription drug purchases are contingent upon available funds in your account.

The proof is in your savings. 

Twice a year, you will receive a “Proof of Savings” report illustrating your actual savings under the program.  The report will show what the pharmacy retail price of your drug purchases would have been versus you’re MyRxSavings discount price.  Your MSA/HSA accounts will have a larger year end balance by utilizing a discount network for prescription drugs!

Enrolling in the prescription discount plan is simple. 

If you are interested in enrolling, review and complete the enclosed MyRxSavings enrollment form and mail or fax the completed form to Benefit Administrators.  The monthly fee is waived to our accountholders for access to the pharmacy discount network.  In Section B of the enrollment form, simply write in Benefit Administrators.  If you need assistance or have any questions, please give us a call at 925-299-8015 extension 8555.  Enroll now and start saving!
